Thank You Thursday
On the last Thursday of the month a grade level or group will spoil our staff with coffee and treats! Coffee is provided by the PTA; morning and afternoon snacks are donated. Unlike classroom treats, these can be homemade. When it is your child's grade level month, look for an email or Sign-up Genius on how to participate. This Month's Thank You Thursday is sponsored by Grade 3.
Science Night (Grades K-3)
Arden Middle School 1640 Watt Ave, Sacramento, CAGet ready for an evening of science (and fun!). There is no charge to come to Science Night — your PTA dollars at work! Geared for K-3 Mariemont students* (and their caregivers), this year's Science Night is sure to be a hit. Note: Due to the MP Room Makeover, this year’s Science Night will be hosted at Arden Middle School. Get ready for the following "take home" stations: Cotton Candy Energy Burst Spin Art As well as several "hands-on" stations: Water Rockets Zap Attack Magnetic magic *Open to older siblings too, but many will be on field trips.

PTA General Meeting #2
Mariemont LibraryAs always, PTA General Meetings are open to all parents (no kiddos, please). PTA members will vote on the motions. As outlined in our bylaws, there will be general PTA business conducted for the general session. 6:30 pm – 7:00 pm: Social 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm: PTA General Meeting. All are welcome—and encouraged—to attend Note: This is a parent-only event! P.S. Due to the MP renovations, this meeting will be held in the Mariemont Library
Wellness Thursday
This Wellness Wednesday will actually be Wellness Thursday to coincide with the day after Halloween. Celebrate walking or biking to school! Bring extra candy to donate! Join us in front of the MP Room from 8:25 - 8:40 am. We will have healthy morning snack choices. All students are welcome. Kids Vote 2018
November 6 is Election Day — in the United States ... and at Mariemont! Mariemont students will be getting into the action to vote on important issues concerning our school! Polls will be open before school, during recess and lunch, and after school. A few parent volunteers are needed to work the polls, please consider signing up through this link. Let's rock the vote!
