Mustang Gallop Jog-a-Thon

Let's get moving for Mariemont! The Jog-A-Thon is shaping up to be a big fundraiser for our school, with a school-wide goal of raising $15,000! Funds raised will help provide field trip transportation (buses), technology, art supplies, books, classroom supplies, and other teachers’ needs! Your child has the chance to earn fun prizes and even a chance to be Principal for a Day! See the whole list here. THIS JUST IN! THE CLASS THAT RAISES THE MOST WILL WIN A CLASS ICE CREAM SUNDAE PARTY! Check out the leaderboard for live updates. Its time to help your child get creative

Thank You Thursday (3rd Grade)

On the last (or sometimes 4th) Thursday of the month, a grade level or group will spoil our staff with coffee and treats! Coffee is provided by the PTA; morning and afternoon snacks are donated. Unlike classroom treats, these can be homemade. When it is your child’s grade level month, look for an email or Sign-up Genius on how to participate. This Month’s Thank You Thursday is sponsored by Grade 3.

Character Parade & Halloween Fun!

Mariemont will be having its annual Book Character Parade on October 31st at 9:00 AM. Students are invited to dress as a character from a favorite book. We ask that they carry this book with them during the parade. Students are not allowed to wear masks, gory or bloody face paint, or bring any type of weapon (even plastic ones). They also must wear a costume that is safe and of appropriate size to be able to walk through classrooms. If your student decides not to dress in character, they will still need to walk in the parade and carry

Pajama Day, Wellness Thursday & Candy Drive & YOGA

It's the day after Halloween which means ... you get to wear PJs to school! Please wear your cozy PJs and shoes (no slippers). We will kick off the morning with Wellness Thursday and set up a Candy Drive for Operation Gratitude. Oh, and YOGA!

Assembly: A Touch of Understanding (3rd Grade)

An incredible on-campus experience for our 3rd graders. This assembly is uniquely designed for students to learn about what it is like to live with a disability. It is truly hands-on. Students will walk with a cane, maneuver a wheelchair around, and touch artificial limb samples. This PTA-sponsored assembly is one your 3rd graders will not want to miss. Learn more about A Touch of Understanding.

Minimum Days/Parent-Teacher Conferences, Grades 1-5

This week is "Minimum Days." All students in grades 1 through 5 will be released at 11:55 AM. This will not impact Kindergarten. This week will also be when parent-teacher conferences will be held.
