$2,100 raised. By 5th graders. At Mariemont.
Not too shabby, huh?
The”Kids Helping Kids Dinner” has been a Mariemont tradition for the past five years. 5th graders host a potluck dinner and collect donations to support the greater Mariemont community and other outside organizations.
This year, the 5th graders collected donations totaling $2100 — money used for the Ralph Richardson Center (RRC) to purchase equipment for their adaptive PE program.
Thanks to Shallon Elliott for being an amazing event organizer. Thanks to Julia and Pete Maldonado for donating the churros. Thanks to all the kiddos who worked before and during this event to make it a success. And thanks to the families who were present!
Bonus: No one slipped on the taco meat covered floor.
Amazing!! Thank you so much for doing this. It means so much to our little school. We are beyond excited for our new PTA! Thank you, Mariemont! — Keri Jobe, RRC PTA President
