Scholastic Fall Book Fair
September 23, 2019 @ 8:45 am - September 27, 2019 @ 3:15 pm
The Scholastic Book Fair Is Coming To Mariemont!
It’s still hot outside, but we’re cooling off by getting ready for the Arctic Adventure Fall Book Fair! During the week of September 23rd through 27th, the Mariemont Library will be transformed into a bookstore where students can shop for new books and fun school supplies to add to their home libraries and study spaces. Purchases made at the Book Fair directly support the Mariemont Library!
New This Fall! We’re now offering a new, cash-free payment option called eWallet, making it easier for kids to buy books! Set up your account today so your kiddo will be ready when their class comes to the book fair. For more information, click here.
Mariemont Kids Helping Kids and G.R.A.N.D. Lunch
The week of the Fall Book Fair is also host to two well-loved traditions at Mariemont! On the evening of Thursday, September 26th, all Mariemont families are invited to join the 5th-grade class for a potluck style dinner and contribute (if desired) to a charitable organization, selected by the 5th-graders. In the coming weeks, the class as a whole will be selecting the theme of the night as well as which organization to support. The Book Fair will be open for families to shop during this event.
This year’s G.R.A.N.D. Lunch will be held during lunchtimes on Friday, September 27th.
All Mustangs are invited to bring a Grandparent, Relative, Aunt or Uncle, a Neighbor, or other Devoted Caregiver to eat lunch with them on campus and shop the Book Fair. AM and PM Kinder Families: please look for a special announcement coming soon regarding Kindergarten G.R.A.N.D. Lunchtimes. All families should look to “The Flash” and flyers coming home with your student(s) for further details on these events soon!
In order to make our Book Fair a success, we need your help! Please visit our SignUp Genius to help set up, take down, or to help staff the Book Fair (links below). Recesses and lunches are particularly busy, and we also need volunteers the day of the G.R.A.N.D. Lunch!
